Job Overview:

The laundry worker may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a laundry campus. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Xanitos may identify other responsibilities of the position. These responsibilities may differ among accounts, depending on business necessities, client requirements and applicable industry standards.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Empties soiled linen bags and place on sorting belt.
• Wears protective apparel as required.
• Separates linen by classification.
• Loads overhead monorail system.
• Cleans and disinfects work area and laundry carts.
• Operates cart washer.
• Reports equipment problems to Maintenance Department.
• Weighs carts as required to insure appropriate weight.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Job Qualifications:

• Experience in health industry a plus
• Background Screening and Drug Test required
• FLU Vaccine required
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required.
