Peak Environmental is looking to hire an experienced Landscape Designer or Landscape Architect to design and sell residential outdoor living spaces. Peak Environmental has been in the design/build landscape business for 25 years and is recognized as one of the area's most prominent landscape developers.

Who we’re looking for:

• Someone who is passionate about landscape design and outdoor living.

• Has a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of landscape design.

• Can communicate and carry themselves professionally in a digital environment.

• Abilities to sketch by hand, utilize computer aided design and 3D.

• Intricate knowledge of plants, hard-scapes, and site development.

• Familiar with general sales processes.

• Project management skills are a plus.

The main objectives for this position include

• Manage time appropriately in order to maximize desired results.

• Conduct business professionally in a digital environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

• Communicate at regular intervals to all parties involved in the execution of sold work.

• Design and sell residential outdoor living space projects that range in size from $10,000 to $250,000

• Increase sales annually in proportion to stated sales goals.

• Manage prospects and sales from the beginning of the sales cycle through the completion of the project.

The key task associated with this position are:

• Respond to incoming sales leads and qualify them.

• Meet with potential prospects and discuss budgets and scope.

• Sell Landscape Design Contracts.

• Schedule site visits to perform a site analysis.

• Design residential landscapes.

• Write proposals for new landscape construction projects.

• Secure deposits for construction contracts and provide supporting documentation for the office and the construction teams.

• Procure special materials required for project execution.

• Track and report sales activity.

• Upsell projects and services.

• Perform site visits to ensure the quality of work and the scope are in line with customer expectations. Advise construction crews as needed.

• Work with the accounting department to ensure all materials and labor have been billed accordingly.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $65,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
