IT Network Administrator Job at Delaney Radiology
We are currently looking for an IT Network Administrator to join our dynamic team!
What you’ll be doing:
The IT Network Administrator is responsible for the operational administration and network management of all printers, servers, and workstations. This includes the following:
- Daily system monitoring
- Storage media management
- User management
- Network management
- Server management
- Quality control and performance monitoring
- Training for new and existing users
- Troubleshooting and problem solving
- Security – including development and monitoring of IT policies and procedures
- Providing proactive technical administration, planning, coordination, documentation and management reporting for the Delaney IT infrastructure
- Daily monitoring of scheduled jobs, using monitoring tools
- Monitoring of NT Server Hardware, including monitoring RAID
- Adding/Changing/Deleting Users on Active Directory Server, including putting new users into appropriate user groups, granting appropriate permissions, changing user’s profiles, deleting users; and maintaining appropriate documentation for all NT user management functions
- Administration of G-Suite and our corporate email solution. (Cisco Secure Gateway)
- Maintaining Cisco Call Manager environment and doing administration tasks.
- Maintaining and monitoring security on network (Cisco Firepower, Umbrella, AV)
- Maintaining Windows Updates on all Windows Servers (e.g., N-Able)
- Responsible for all printer, copier communication with MSP provider.
- Demonstrate flexibility with changing workload and assignments
- Manage personal work schedule and time off to promote smooth department operations
- Present a clean and neat appearance in work area and personal attire
- Communicate to IT Director any problems or circumstances that need to be addressed in a timely manner
- Inform IT Director of daily operations
- Attend and participate in team meetings and company-wide meetings
- Accomplish all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested
- Follow established policies and procedures
- Effectively demonstrate the mission, vision and values of Delaney Radiologists
- Maintain a favorable working relationship with all employees to promote a cooperative and harmonious working environment in order to facilitate positive employee morale, productivity and continued improvement
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Working knowledge of MSOffice tools, Adobe and Radiology Information Systems
- Ability to correctly install and maintain computer hardware and software
- Knowledge of medical terminology, preferably as it relates to Radiology
- Knowledge of computer hardware and software operations and capabilities
- Ability to display excellent interpersonal skills with patients, public, co-workers and physicians
Education and Experience:
- AA/AS degree in computer-related field plus two years relevant experience; a BA/BS degree in computer science or related discipline; or the combination of education and experience that enables performance of all aspects of the position.
- CompTIA A+ – CompTIA Network + – MCP – CCNA preferred.
