Snider-Blake is in need of an Investigator that would gather evidence for analysis regarding citizen complaints, conduct citizen interviews regarding complaints, conduct investigations into citizens complaints, and present findings and recommendations to a review board. Primary Responsibilities:

· Identify and categorize allegations from complaints

· Gather and preserve relevant evidence regarding complains

· Provide pertinent information for case analysis

· Conduct investigations into citizen complaints

Requirements:

· High school or GED required

· Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Social Science, or closely related field of study from an accredited four-year college or university is required (Two years of experience may substitute for each year of college education lacking)

· 5 years of full time paid investigative experience, three of which must be in conducting investigations consisting of evidence gathering, witness interviewing and case file maintenance

· Must have strong analytical and writing skills

· Must be familiar with the use of audio/visual recording and playback equipment

· Must have proficient computer and internet skills, including proficiency with Microsoft office

· Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task

· Must have a valid driver's license
