Information Systems Analyst Job at Manasquan Bank

PRIMARY PURPOSE*
This position is responsible for three major critical areas within the Information Technology department of the Bank; assist the Bank’s reporting and document storage platforms, assist with the administrative responsibilities of the Bank’s systems, and support in the coordination efforts of the Business Continuity program.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
Information Reporting
- Based on user requirements and needs of the Bank, be able to administer, create, and maintain queries/reports primarily within the Bank's business intelligence system and secondarily within other reporting systems.
- Consult with branch and department management to develop reporting solutions consistent with Bank objectives.
- Facilitate and partner with business users to identify and analyze their needs to define business requirements for new or existing reports.
- Perform other data/reporting duties as assigned.
IT Support / Systems Administration
- Assist with the administration, support, and monitoring of critical business systems
- Assist in tracking system issues, responding to questions and support requests.
- Assist in the necessary steps to improve in production support, implementing preventative measures and ensuring status updates are provided to those impacted.
- Provide back up support for administrative activities, to include add, delete and update users, system rights, account parameters and system processing updates.
- Assist with new strategies and procedures to increase efficiency and enhance workflow.
- Assist with responding to help desk requests and user issues
- Reset /unlock user passwords for various applications.
- Assist in Enterprise Content Management primarily with Nautilus and EOM applications as well as other applications as needed.
- Assist in User Access Reviews with Business Units.
- Assist with End user technical training of systems as assigned.
Business Continuity
- Support and assist in business continuity and disaster recovery efforts to include but not limited to coordinating business unit meetings, assist in document creation and maintenance, disaster recovery exercises, and report on the status of individual business continuity efforts to the Business Continuity administrator.
- Assist in maintaining the Business Continuity program, including but not limited to the Business Continuity Policy and Plan as well as other policies and documentation included in the program.
- Support and assist in the planning and execution of disaster recovery exercises; coordinating with business units, and Information Technology Services (ITS) when applicable, dates, times and scenarios of the tests. Assist in the development, resolution and publishing of action plans and lessons learned from these exercises.
- Creates documentation and procedures as necessary.
- Completes tasks, report milestones and statuses in a timely fashion
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Strong technical aptitude for learning, critical thinking skills, and initiative
- Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to summarize and provide solutions to resolve issues.
- Great interpersonal skills with the ability to interact in an appropriate and timely manner with all internal/external clients
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately in both verbal and written form
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Ability to manage time, resources, and set priorities to accomplish multiple duties
- Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE*
- 2-4 years’ experience Information Technology related position, preferrable within a banking or financial institution
- Bachelor’s degree
- Experience with banking software/applications, preferred.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Oracle Database, and SQL programming language scripting ability, preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Working conditions are those of an “open” office environment, which can require the ability to manage some stress such as noise level from clients, employees, and general office equipment, etc. Daily use of wrists, hands, and fingers: to use computer, telephone, fax, copier, and general office equipment. Ability to hear and speak clearly for gathering simple to complex information from both clients and colleagues. Sitting for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours), standing, and walking up to 20% of work time. Ability to bend and lift boxes and bags, up to approximately 10lbs
