Our Independent Living Advisors provide guidance to students in the dormitories and help them gain the social and life skills needed for achievement in the program, employment and self-sufficiency. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), we have creative and caring staff who help our students realize their potential.
MAIN DUTIES:
WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time working from 3:00 pm to midnight five days per week
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS: High school diploma or GED
PAY AND BENEFITS: $19.09 per hour plus full benefits, including 12 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insurance

MAIN DUTIES:
- Foster effective residential living relations and promote a positive atmosphere
- Assure accountability of students, maintain records and report incidents
- Direct or assist with dormitory activities
- Ensure a safe living environment and assist with cleaning and sanitizing
- Serve as a role model; mentor and monitor students
