ATI has a current need for a full-time HVAC Technician to fill a position on a Facilities Maintenance and Support Services contract at a Federal facility in Fayetteville, NC. The HVAC Technician should be experienced in commercial equipment and able to respond to limited emergencies. This individual should be knowledgeable of commercial mechanical systems to restart, bypass, repair, or otherwise return systems to normal operations.

Position Duties:

• Diagnose causes of problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs;
• Repair heating and air conditioning systems and/or components (e.g., pumps, motors, air handlers, fan coils, piping, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring a comfortable work environment and maintaining operational readiness;
• Inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g., heating units, building exhaust fans, ventilation units, etc.) for the purpose of evaluating condition, identifying necessary repairs and recommending preventive maintenance;
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance as needed for the purpose of ensuring the ongoing functioning of HVAC systems; and
• Install heating and air conditioning equipment and systems for the purpose of providing enhanced and/or upgraded capabilities.

Candidate Requirements:

• Must have certification as HVAC mechanic;
• Must have least 3 years of experience working on commercial HVAC systems and associated equipment;
• Must have EPA Universal certification for handling refrigerants;
• Must have a current SECRET clearance or an acceptable background history to acquire such a clearance in a timely manner; and
• Demonstrated experience in the operation of US Government facilities is a plus.

Job Type:

This is a full-time position.

Pay:

$22.65 - $27.19 per hour.
