QubicaAMF - Human Resources Manager

SUMMARY: This engaged HR Manager position must support and manage all HR functions, overseeing employee relations, compensation and benefits, training and development, performance management, recruitment, and retention activities. Must be self-motivated and eager to contribute diverse talents by collaborating with a growth-driven company to achieve HR goals. Perform effectively both independently and as part of a cohesive team within challenging and complex work environments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties may be assigned.

· Build and maintain strategic partnerships with management to ensure proper alignment of human resources programs and policies with business objectives in order to facilitate the achievement of organizational goals.

· Maintain direct responsibility for the administration of payroll for 400 employees in the domestic United States. Maintain vendor relationship with third-party payroll provider.

· Fully accountable for employee benefits plans, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and short and long term disability. Responsible for plan design, marketing and the selection of benefit providers and plans, in coordination with a third-party broker. Plan and lead open enrollment meetings will all employees. Administration of all providers.

· Serve as plan administrator and fiduciary for 401k plan. Administer and manage employee deferrals, company match and timely remittance of funds to plan provider. Perform required annual compliance and non-discriminatory testing. Manage annual 401k plan audit with external auditors.

· Accountable for employee relations counseling and corrective/disciplinary action. Devise and implement effective solutions to employee relations issues through investigations, conflict resolution, and performance and disciplinary actions with the goal of fostering employee satisfaction and high morale.

· Work in conjunction with other managers on training and development programs. Designing HR programs together with the worldwide HR Team to support organizational culture

· Manage recruitment, retention, and terminations for all U.S. employees except those at the Lowville, NY manufacturing plan.

· Collaborate and work with managers on compensation studies, ensuring that employee compensation is in harmony with current market trends and within company budgetary needs/constraints.

· Responsible for health and wellness initiatives, including maintaining an onsite Fitness Center and managing an onsite café through a third-party vendor.

· Monitor programs and activities to ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state, and federal laws including Workers’ Compensation, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, EEOC, LOA, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, and ADEA.

· Establish rapport and positive relationships at all levels within the organization to help ensure human resources decisions and recommendations are consistently in the best interest of both employees and the company.

· Responsible for legal cases related to employment and termination. Coordinate with CFO and outside legal counsel (if necessary) to resolve agency claims and/or legislation.

· Manage onsite mail room, copy center and fleet printers through a third-party vendor.

· Coordination of any immigration needs and act as liaison with related law firm representatives.

· Communicate and train on local and global Policies

· Refocusing organizational structure on strategic objectives

· Responsible for the budget set-up and control

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: The HR Manager will oversee the HR team, cafe team, mail room/office Services function and the receptionist.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree and at least five to eight year's human resources experience required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
