(Chicago/Hybrid) The Human Resources Business Partner will manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, collaborating closely with the Director of HR and the HR team to deliver best-in-class employee experiences, advance organization-wide initiatives, and apply advance knowledge of best practices in all areas of Human Resources. This role will serve as a primary resource to staff by overseeing the implementation and compliance of all policies, procedures, benefits, employment legislation, performance management, payroll, total rewards, employee relations and required reporting. This role is integral in moving the organization forward by supporting its employees in a “best in class” workplace.

As a growing global nonprofit located in downtown Chicago, we are looking for an individual with a customer service mentality coupled with the experience required to fill this position. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Psychology, Labor Relations, or related field or equivalent experience. A Minimum of 5 years of professional human resources generalist or business partner experience is required. At minimum, experience should include recruitment, employee relations, policy administration, employee motivation, training, and benefits administration.

Experience with multi-cultural diversity, including religious diversity, is needed in this position. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to address various levels of leadership and team members is a proficient manner will provide success in this position. Working with sensitive and confidential issues in a timely and appropriate manner as needed.
