Job Summary:
Oversees the nightly operations of the housekeeping department ensuring quality standards are met, to include project-based work. Evaluates and establishes new standards to increase department workflow efficiencies and quality. Manages the development and performance of night supervisors and staff.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday from 3:30pm-12:30am. (Second shift)
Job Duties:
- Directly manages and leads housekeeping supervisors and staff. Allocates staffing, equipment, and resources.
- Ensures time and materials are properly documented in work management system. Converts online requests to work orders. Ensures timecards are entered/approved within work management system. Ensures work orders are completed.
- Manage hiring, development and performance management activities for supervisors and staff. Provides training to employees as needed.
- Perform area audits and enforces cleaning standards.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
Associate degree or above is strongly preferred.
Experience:
Five (5) years of related supervisory experience is required.
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in education, research and/or patient care facilities is preferred.
Supervisory Requirements:
- Has the authority to direct the work of others, hire or fire employees, or provide recommendations as to the hiring, firing, advancement, promotion, or any other change of status of employees.
