Hemodialysis Technician Job at Roy Lester Schneider Hospital
Position Summary
The Hemodialysis Technician maintains an environment where safe and compassionate care is delivered to the patients. Contributes to the quality of patient care under the supervision of the registered nurse. Performs water testing and provides care for unit population. (Full-Time)
Education & Experience
Must have high school diploma or GED. Required current dialysis technician training certificate. Permanent staff members accepted into the dialysis technician position must obtain approved Hemodialysis Technician Certification within 18 months from their date of hire.
Specific Requirements
Current American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer BLS certification. Knowledgeable and comfortable working with computers.
