Hardscape Crew Member

Job Description:

• Serve as a member of a team dedicated to providing superior quality service to homeowners who desire a unique landscape and/or hardscape for their home
• Work in the great outdoors during various seasons and temperatures (Note: we will not work in extreme temperatures)
• Construct customized hardscapes which include patios, walkways, retaining walls, seating walls, fire pits, and more
• Create landscape beds and install a variety of plants and trees
• Establish lawns by laying sod or spreading seed
• Safely and responsibly operate a variety of motorized equipment such as plate compactors, masonry saws, skid steers, excavators, etc.
• Learn to master installation techniques that quickly and efficiently produce premium quality results by continuously improving knowledge and gaining education of the tasks we are performing
• Exercise strong attention to detail to ensure a finished product that surpasses our competition
• Willingness to learn and excel at new tasks and duties
• Lifting and installing heavy materials on the job site

Requirements for Hire:

• High School diploma
• Valid drivers license and good driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Strong mathematical skills
• Experience operating various small engine equipment (chainsaw, trimmer, blower, etc)
• Experience working outdoors during both hot and cold seasons
• No smoking or consumption of alcohol on the job site or in company vehicles

Bonus Skills:

• Ability to back up a truck and trailer
• Ability to operate a tractor and/or skid steer
• Experience with landscape and/or hardscape work

Compensation:

• Pay rate is $15-$20 per hour based on experience
• Paid overtime for work in excess of 40 hours per week at 1 1/2 times regular pay rate
