Position Detail: General Pest Technician

Location: Office location is in Fountain Hills. Technician Routes vary depending on the area they are assigned to (Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa, Scottsdale, Ahwatukee, Tempe, Foutain Hills, Rio Verde, Carefree, Queen Creek)

Essential Duties and Responsabilities:

Evaluate pest issues by inspecting environment, identifying pest activities and determining causes.

Introduce tailored service options by individual needs.

Implement treatment and prevention options.

Apply products to structures in accordance with label and Office of Pest Management regulation.

Navigate ladders, attic spaces, rooftops, and crawl spaces.

Collect payment (if the account requires to).

Document each account action.

Display accountability to quality control standards.

Conduct service, vehicle, and equipment operation in a safe manner.

Maintain vehicle and equipment (provided by company).

Maintain an Arizona state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Resolve customer complaints with diplomacy and necessary steps towards satisfaction.

Achieve continuing education as required by the Office of Pest Management.

Respond timely to customer inquiries.

Execute other duties as required to perpetuate a fluid atmosphere within the Company.

Skills and Qualifications:

This position is highly interactive and requires the technician to be proficient in communication (verbal and written), customer service, decision making, documentation, attendance, applicable computer software programs, and technical knowledge (label familiarity, industry trends, common pest biology, etc). As an employee, the technician is also a part of a team. Contributing in a positive way to the success of the team is required and the technician must be able to navigate professional relationships internally towards the growth and maintenance of his/her route.

Education and/or Experience

This position requires a high school diploma or general education degree. No industry experience is necessary.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, or local regulations. Company will aid in obtaining applicable certifications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
