Prosper Real Estate manages rental properties throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. We are currently seeking a General Laborer to complete work orders and assist with heavy lifting manual labor on a part-time to full-time basis for anything from full renovations to painting and minor repair work in Eau Claire.

General Laborer

Duties and Responsibilities Overview

1. Job Overview

• Receive work orders that tenants have requested and meet them at their apartment to complete tasks.
• Work on renovation projects for our property owner clients, focusing specifically on removing old appliances and assisting with the installation of new appliances.
• Assist with turn-overs and move-ins as tenants move out and move into the apartment complex.

2. Summary of Job Requests

• Simple Plumbing - Unclogging drains and garbage disposals, troubleshooting leaks
• Simple Carpentry - Replacing blinds, demo, hanging sheet rock, etc.
• Moving large appliances with assistance
• Cleaning - Carpet Shampooing
• Painting - Interior and Exterior
• Landscaping - Brush Removal, Snow Removal, Lawn Care
• Assisting maintenance manager with other tasks when time permits

3. Work Schedule

Our business hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm but can vary based on your specific location. Typical shifts in business hours would include 7:00 am - 3:00 pm or 8:00 am - 4:00 pm. No weekends are required.

4. Tools

• A sharp mind, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude
• You must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

5. Compensation

• - Mileage Reimbursement of 50 cents per mile for work completed in/around the region (commute to job site not included)
• - $16.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour is offered, based on skills and experience.
