SpringHill Suites Savannah Richmond Hill is looking to hire friendly front desk agents who are looking to work in a environment where they feel welcome and appreciated. We are looking for individuals who enjoy engaging with each other and our guests with positivity and respect.

A front desk agent is usually the first person who greets our guests when you walk into a hotel. From check-in to check-out these individuals are who the guests depend on to provide them with information to help them enjoy their stay. They are also tasked with helping guests with any questions or complaints.

Qualifications:

Must have an outgoing personality

Must be able to work a flexible schedule

Must be honest and work well with others

Stand/walk on feet for 8 hours and work in a restrictive space/environment

Must have eyesight enabling vision both near and far

Must be able to climb up and down stairs if needed

Must speak in a clear, understandable voice and hear at a basic level, and understand English

Must be able to bend, stretch arms overhead and lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Professional attitude and appearance

Ability to maintain a positive, friendly attitude even under high pressure

Solid written and verbal communication skills

Prior hotel experience is a bonus, but not required.

Responsibilities:

Greet all guests and assist them with check-in and check-out

Maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanor

Respond to all guest questions and requests

Answer and forward phone calls

Manage guest bookings and reservations

Keep a tidy and orderly workspace

Assist with administrative and clerical tasks as needed

Responsible for the cleanliness and overall appearance of the front desk area and market gallery.

Courteously and pleasantly respond to the guest’s needs and requests in order to make their stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible

Adhere to all hotel/franchise and Ideal Hospitality standards

Responsible for reporting to the maintenance department any deficiency in any guestrooms, public area, reported by our guests or any hotel employee

Should have knowledge of fire alarm and evacuation procedures

Must be responsible for security of guests, fellow employees and hotel assets

All duties must be carried out in a safe manner

Employee must treat everyone with dignity and respect

Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc

Must perform any/all other required duties as requested by the Front Desk Manager, Assistant General Manager and General Manager to aid in better operation of the hotel and service to the guests.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
