Foundry Maintenance - 2nd Shift Hiring Event Job at EATON HE
Eaton’s Electrical Crouse-Hinds division is currently seeking a 2nd shift Foundry Maintenance to join our team. This position is based at our Syracuse, New York facility. This position starts at $29.66/hr.

In this function you will:
- Perform all required duties to maintain and repair a wide variety of foundry equipment and machinery and grinding equipment in all foundry areas.
- Tear down, diagnose faulty operation, replace or repair worn or defective parts, reassemble and adjust such equipment as molding machines, shot blast, conveyors, hoists, grinding equipment, blowers, fans roto-cones, etc.
- Align and adjust as necessary to insure proper operation.
- Replace conveyor belts, pillow blocks, bearings, shafts, operating components such as gear boxes, speed reducers, etc.
- Lubricate equipment on prescribed schedule or as necessary; check for excessive heat, noise or other operational defects during lubrication.
- Adjust stripping pins and squeeze heat height as necessary and perform a variety of similar or associated duties as required or directed.

Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate geographic area (50 miles) of Syracuse, NY will be considered for this position.
Preferred qualifications:
- Minimum (5) five full time years’ experience or the equivalent to Journeymen level experience.
