Do you love the outdoors and being in nature. If this describes you, come and work for our team in the Amazing and Beautiful Sequoia National Forest. You'll have an amazing adventure this summer. We are looking for a self-starter with great energy that will embrace the position of Forest Manager.
The forest manager oversees our operations at our campgrounds, ensuring all visitors receive an extraordinary and memorable experience and the operation is managed according to our company and client policies/expectations. This position will be responsible for everything from Hume Lake to Lake Isabella and everything in between, including a lot of driving, in a company vehicle, driving long distances between the campgrounds.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills and a strong ability to set priorities for multiple tasks. This position requires living on site in an RV or living in the local area and able to commute. Must be able to develop relationships with the Forest Service, maintain expectations and live up to contractual agreements. Ability to work within a budget, review financial documents and forecast files. Ability to think outside the box and come up with solutions to complex problems out in the field. Previous hosting experience and management experience in a campground setting is a plus.
