Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of guest exercise classes
• Be knowledgeable and train in the latest fitness research and programs
• Attend regular meetings as directed by the or Spa Director or Membership coordinator
• Monitor fitness department supplies and replenish them as needed
• Assist Membership Coordinator in development of class scheduling and programming
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the fitness equipment and facilities
• Provide proper guest hospitality and service, as directed by management
• Perform other general duties as assigned

Requirements

• Ability to teach a wide variety of classes
• Good communication skills a must
• Fitness Instructure ACE, AAFA, or similar certification in group fitness instruction
• Two years’ experience leading exercise classes preferred
• Appearance must be professional and well groomed
• Physical ability to teach the format of the required fitness class
• Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, & weekends as business demands
