Pay Rate: $47,513.44 - $59,309.12 + Pension Pick-Up and Overtime. In addition to the hourly rate, the City of Franklin offers a competitive benefits package including 10% pension pickup, retirement benefits, health, dental, optical and life insurance, and generous paid time off.
STEP 1: Application. Applications, job descriptions and full testing details are available at the Franklin City Building, 1 Benjamin Franklin Way, Franklin, Ohio or on the City’s website. All completed applications and forms must be received at the City Building on or before Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at 3:59 p.m.
STEP 2: Written Test. Schedule a Written [Electronic] Test at www.nationaltestingnetwork.com or Submit Test Scores for any test taken as early as May 22, 2022, or anytime thereafter.
STEP 3: Physical Ability Test. If you possess a valid CPAT or Firefighter Mile certificate issued no earlier than May 22, 2022, from a licensed CPAT or NTN provider, that certificate will be accepted in lieu of completing the Physical Ability Test. If you submit proof of completion of the Firefighter Mile or CPAT, you do not have to attend the testing dates provided below.
