Job Title: Logistics Finance Analyst
Location: Racine, WI (hybrid - 2 days/week onsite)
Duration: 06+ Month Contract to Hire
Job Description:
- We are currently seeking a Logistics Finance Analyst to join our team in Racine. This position reports to the NAFTA Logistics Finance Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for providing Freight Financial analysis, processes, reporting and process improvement. In addition, this position drives cost control and accountability in the region as well as at the manufacturing plants, including budgets, forecasts, capital spending, and variance analysis, actuals reporting and other FP&A activities.
- The Logistics Finance Analyst is also responsible for month-end closing and reporting processes, including preparing and recording journal entries, reconciling balance sheet accounts, preparing management reports and value-added analysis, and recommendations for improvement. You will be responsible for the accuracy and timely reporting of all internal and external reporting requirements, as well as local management reporting and policy adherence.
Required Qualifications
The qualified candidate will have:
- Bachelor's Degree is required; Accounting or Finance discipline is preferred
- Minimum 3 years professional work experience in Accounting/Finance role with exposure to budgets, forecasts & month-end reporting in a matrix environment
The ideal candidate will have:
- Exposure to Manufacturing Finance and/or Logistics Finance
- Knowledge of SAP
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, consolidate & interpret financial data
- Demonstrated strong organizational & communication skills
- Strong PC skills, including advanced Microsoft Excel
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $19.09 - $28.00 per hour
