Filling Hauler
Noon - 8PM (2 Openings) Monday - Friday, with some occasional overtime as needed.
$16.18/hr.
Job Summary
While working safely, the Filling Hauling associate will provide assistance in the weave room. The person in this job maintains the doff and filling area and stages filling yarn for delivery to weave room. This job includes the weighing of collected waste, cleaning, and floor maintenance. The Filling Hauler will be responsible for TPM (total preventive maintenance) all material handling equipment. Operator also has the authority to stop a loom when the quality of fabric is questionable and should report any suspect fabric to a member of the Quality Control department.
Requirements
- Must maintain housekeeping in all areas of responsibility
- Must be able to work safely, follow company policies and safe work practices to prevent injury to yourself and other associates, immediately correct unsafe behaviors and immediately correct/report any unsafe work condition.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and follow written instructions, Construction sheets, and drafts.
- Must have the capacity to work independently. Ability to lift light to heavy weights. Good vision. Good Mechanical ability. Standard learning period of 16 weeks OJT, supervised. Serve as an On-the-Job Instructor; Periodically train others to perform job.
- Must also be able to work overtime, Holidays and weekends as need be.
