KeyServ Company is a platform established in December of 2021 to invest in the residential and commercial landscape services markets. With the goal of creating a super-regional full-service landscape company serving customers in the residential, commercial and public space verticals throughout the Southeastern United States. Our Merritt Island division, Blue Bell Landscaping, has an opening for a Fertilizer and Pest Control Supervisor/Sales position. This individual with oversee and coordinate applications of fertilizers and pesticides to lawn and landscapes for residential and commercial clients.

  4+ years working experience with lawn and ornamental fertilizer and pest applications
• Supervisory, sales and training skills
• Product knowledge, application rates and turf identification skills are a must
• Experience and background with lawn maintenance and irrigation
• Basic reading, writing, arithmetic and communication skills are a must
• Strong interpersonal skills are required
• Valid drivers license and ability to meet company driving standards are required
• Must be able to speak and communicate in English. Bi-lingual in Spanish is a major bonus
• Must pass company drug screening

Essential Duties

• Coordinates with applicators, fertilizers and pesticides to lawn/landscapes according to label instruction, safety procedures and schedules
• Drives company vehicles to clients locations, makes necessary inspections and provides client with education and updates of service
• Always interacts with clients on-site or via email and phone
• Promptly responds to client questions or requests for additional services
• Evaluates entire job site for any additional work, repairs and/or improvements needed and discusses with client on estimate
• Monitors information for completed work with computers systems at the end of each workday
• Schedule sales calls and meet with customers to discuss their law care needs

Physical/Mental Demands

The ability to endure frequent extreme temperatures is required. Constant hearing, seeing and mental alertness is required. Frequent digging, gluing, walking, standing, bending, reaching, grasping, handling small items and equipment, carrying tools, sitting while driving, pulling, pushing, lifting heavier items
(over 30 lbs), hand-eye coordination, gross motor skills and manual dexterity required. Occasional talking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling in small spaces, climbing and ladder usage is required.

The Fertilizer and Pest Control Supervisor work outdoors with frequent contact with customers. They are exposed to all types of weather conditions. Constant exposure to chemicals and products. Work involves daily local travel, to current and potential customers. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. the typical workweek is Monday through Friday, but additional Saturday time may occasionally be required if necessary to finish all the work in any given month. Work is full-time and five to six days per week.
