Experienced Horse Farm private contractor Job at Victory Hill Farm
Need a reliable person who has SOLID experience handling horses to work at a horse farm doing feeding, mucking, blanketing and turning in/out for 14-16 competition horses. Current need is three early AM's per week, (Tues/Wed/Sat) desired but could possibly trade some days with other helpers) 5.5-8.0 hrs. on average. Also need some PM shorter feeding shifts, (1.5-2 hrs. currently paid $45.00 per time), (Sun right now but could add some in the future possibly or ability to trade with other helpers) which at this time also may share some split mucking duties which are billed/paid in addition to the pm feeding pay. Must be strong and fit, (able to lift 50 plus lbs. on a daily basis), have own reliable transportation, live a maximum of 30 minutes away, not mind working in all weather conditions, and be 18 or older. Amiable with good sense of humor is a plus! Bonuses and paid time off with adequate notice ahead of time. Pay is negotiable depending on experience but competitive.

COVID-19 considerations:
Most work is performed outside, and our barn is a very well ventilated raised center aisle way barn. Most of our customers and owners have been vaccinated at this point, but we have also worn masks when (rarely) indoors in close proximity with
others.
