ERP Analyst, Business Applications Job at TissueTech Inc
The IT Application support analyst will responsible for functional and technical support of the ERP or Enterprise Resource Planning system. The Analyst will use specialized technical knowledge to solve simple to complex business problems related to the use of the ERP and other related systems. This person will also be responsible for researching and solving functional issues within the ERP. He/She/They will develop and deploy solutions across multiple functional departments. The Applications Analyst will also be responsible for documenting and training users on new features and upgrades.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assess and recommend out of box ERP functionality vs. custom solutions that have a positive impact on the overall functionality of the ERP and its related systems.- Promotes minor user interface (UI) changes into the production environment of the ERP system. Administers user accounts, role level security, on-boarding/off-boarding of ERP users.
- Solves simple to complex problems and develops methods, standards and processes for diverse business activities. Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in translating requirements to extraneous support teams.
- Understanding of business procedures specific to ERP functions within the Operations, Distribution, Finance, Manufacturing (MRP), and Quality Assurance modules.
- Map current business processes, defining and analyzing business activities, proposing best practices, and recommending solutions.
- Works closely with the ERP vendor(s) for technical support. Assists in the testing and implementation of new ERP deployment or revisions.
- Recognizes discrepancies and/or problems with analysis, process mapping or system implementation results and leads toward a corrective action.
- Assists in writing and editing quality or training documentation for operating procedures, processes and regulatory compliance.
- Any other duties as assigned.

Experience & Qualifications
- Experience with mid to large scale ERP such as Sage X3, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or NetSuite, Infor or similar
- Strong understanding of complex business logic and complex enterprise applications.
- Analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Roll-up-the-sleeves attitude and a hands-on approach.
- Well organized; able to prioritize and coordinate tasks and projects.
- Experience with managing projects and priorities with competing deadlines.
- Experience working with users and vendors on competing issues and questions in a timely manner within a service ticketing system.
- Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization by providing clear concise communication.
- Strong collaborative skills; experience working with various departments for a common goal.
