Responsibilities include completion of daily work schedule, testing, calibrating and commissioning of instrumentation, recording and maintaining data sheets.
Running and bending Stainless steel tubing and galvanized piping to liquid natural gas units
Responsible for running pneumatic tubing and electrical/electronic installations on equipment in the production area. Performs with moderate supervision.
Perform Instrument turnaround maintenance activities
Work Experience & Skills Required:
Minimum 2 years instrument maintenance experience in a refining, chemical, or power plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Run pneumatic tubing
- Complete the layout of tubing on skids
- Run tubing to the end devices
- Bend tubing ¼ - 1 inch thick
- Read P&ID drawings
- Fabricate bracket braces and instrument racks as needed
- Reading blueprints
- Familiar with different types of tubing
- Knowledge of end devices
- Understanding of system flow
- Performs required testing of tubing
- Bending stainless steel
- Ability to use benders
- Able to wire and cable installation by hand, by machine and in cable trays.
- Is responsible for reporting any problems arising during the test cycle on units.
