Job Description:
The Early Career Program Manager creates, develops, and implements early career recruiting initiatives on behalf of Global Services. This exciting role will lead multiple programs related to Global Services Workforce Culture, and includes business strategy development, stakeholder alignment, and management of university engagements as well as other external partnerships.
The Early Career Program manager will enable programs that are focused on attracting and retaining a highly skilled and diverse workforce. This role supports Global Services Early Career initiatives to enable early career professionals as they launch their careers at SVB. The effort seeks to increase representation of underrepresented groups in our Global Services workforce, as well as assist new hires who will gain hands-on experience and a deep understanding of SVB’s business, culture, and values. In partnership with Global Services business leaders, the Program Manager will coordinate opportunities that are aligned to our early career recruiting strategy, including the Global Services Internship Program. The Program Manager will also drive external partnerships and university engagements, including participation in onsite and virtual recruiting events. This role will require some travel as our business continues to seek early career individuals who are physically located near Global Services hub locations across the U.S.
In addition to early career recruiting, the Program Manager will lead the internship program development as well as other strategic pillars across Workforce Culture, including those focused on employee engagement, retention, and diversity-focused programs.
Required Knowledge & Experience:
  • 10+ years of proven experience, including project management, and support of large, complex programs
  • Exceptionally strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Budget and expense management
  • Proven problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Ability to balance priorities and implementation of diversity-focused employee engagement initiatives
  • Experience with university relationships and early career candidates is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other related field is preferred

Base Pay:
$121,291.00 - $181,938.00
Actual starting base pay will be determined on skills, experience, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other perks, as outlined in any formal offer made.
