E-Retail Manager Job at Guerlain

Position

The E-Retail Manager will support the Digital, Marketing and Sales Team on managing and growing Guerlain’s online presence on retail sites by understanding key brand strategy and goals and translating them into online conversions and sales. E-Retail Manager will also pay close attention to Guerlain’s online presence to ensure the brand is showcased in an elevated, and consistent way across all digital channels. E-Retail Manager will also continuously monitor potential new expansion opportunities in this space to further develop the business. E-Retail Manager will also help grow and support E-Retail Coordinator.

E-Retail Responsibilities

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & STRATEGY

  • Lead sales, marketing activation, business planning and execution for E-retail channel
  • Build and negotiate plans, and drive retail achievement for the brand and key product line for each dedicated E-retail account
  • Monitor target achievement and propose action plan to maximize performance
  • Collaborate with retail partners to maximize Retailer.com advertising and spend to drive sales & performance at each account
  • Monitor sales on a consistent basis and suggest immediate, short term, and long-term action plan items to get brand to budget goals
  • Grow Guerlain ranking, share of voice, and share of search amongst our key retailers
  • Work with VP Digital to identify new areas of growth within e-retail space
  • Pro-actively challenge status quo in evolving digital landscape to become a leader in luxury beauty within the e-retail space
  • Monitor and challenge assortment productivity
  • Partner with sales team on monitoring growth opportunities such as previews, promotions etc..

SITE MERCHANDISING & BRANDING

  • Ensure flawless site merchandising (ppages, categorization, ranking etc..)
  • Ensure brand image consistency across all retailer execution
  • Lead efforts to ensure best in class assets and copy for US market are provided to retailers working cross-functionally with HQ, marketing team, and digital team
  • Work with E-Retail Coordinator to frequently update key internal partners on market trends and competition

CRM/CLIENTELING

  • Lead and maximize efforts surrounding training and Clienteling through Digital Stylists and Advisors
  • Ensure best in class customer care and experience for Guerlain customers through wholesale channels

DIGITAL MARKETING

  • Partner with retailers on pilot conversations and concepts to further accelerate business online
  • Lead discussions with key retail partners to secure visibility and key placements to both elevate brand and convert
  • Work closely with E-Retail coordinator on acquisition and retention strategies through samples/GWP with key retailers

LEADERSHIP

  • Manage E-Retail Coordinator to help achieve E-Retail and Business Goals
  • Thought-leader on indirect e-business for broader team

  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Detail oriented, organized, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel experience
  • Photoshop knowledge a plus
  • Negotiating Skills – ability to work closely with retailers to maximize retailer visibility
