What you will do
As a participant in the CTS Driver Training Program for Sherwin-Williams, you are responsible for safe, on-time pick-up and deliveries to distribution centers, manufacturing plants, as well as some external customers. You may also assist with store deliveries when accompanied by a driver trainer, and are required to maintain accurate DOT trip logs, conduct vehicle inspections, and comply with all DOT regulations. Driver trainees will be evaluated on a regular basis throughout the 12-month training program to determine their readiness to deliver to Sherwin-Williams stores and become a graduate of the Driver Training Program.
Sherwin-Williams driver job requirements include:
Must be at least 23 years of age
Must have the legal right to work in this country
Must have worked for Sherwin-Williams for a minimum of 2 years
Must be willing to obtain a Hazardous Materials & Tanker Endorsement upon receiving your CDL
Other Qualifications:
Safe driving record as demonstrated on motor vehicle record report
The successful candidate must be able to obtain a CDL learner's permit and pass a DOT physical and background check
