Driver (Full-Time)

CASOKY, a nonprofit, seeks mission driven individuals to make a big impact by serving disadvantaged individuals in our community. You'll transport individuals, including those with disabilities, within the Bowling Green City limits and perform a variety of other rewarding services.

• Extensive experience NOT required. We'll train!
• Drivers operate ADA accessible vehicles (minivans to small buses) which are equipped with ramps or lifts.
• Part-time hours are flexible ranging from 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday.
• Drivers assist clients from the door of their starting point, in loading and unloading the vehicle, and to the door of their ending point.
• Drivers do NOT act as Personal Care Assistants for clients; do NOT physically lift clients for loading or unloading, or handle carry-ons for clients.

Qualifications: Must be at least age 23, have a valid driver’s license (CDL not required), be able to pass a DOT physical and background check, proof of vaccination documentation, and have any combination equivalent to: high school diploma, GED certificate or demonstrated progress toward obtaining a GED as required by Agency policy.

Salary: Starting salary ranges from $12.75 to $15.25 and is determined by qualifications of type of license held and years of experience.

Funding Source: CASOKY is contracted by the City of Bowling Green to operate GO bg Transit which is a federally funded program through an annual grant from the Federal Transit Administration, with additional funding from the State of Kentucky, City of Bowling Green, and Warren County, Kentucky.
