As a Driver, you are responsible for transporting and/or aiding in the transporting of individuals to appointments and programs. You will also assist in developing transportation schedules and performing monthly maintenance checks to ensure that vehicles are kept clean and in safe condition. You will:

• Be willing to learn and model the five principles of trauma informed care; safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment.
• Have a commitment to promote cultural, racial, language and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion.

This position offers:

• $12.00/hr.
• Part-Time (27.5 hrs./wk.) Monday to Friday hours. Split Shift: 5:30 AM to 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM to 5:30 PM.

About the program:

• The Square One Clubhouse is organized to support people living with mental illness. During the course of their participation in a Clubhouse, members gain access to opportunities to rejoin the worlds of friendships, family, employment and education, and to the services and support they may individually need to continue their recovery. A Clubhouse provides a restorative environment for people whose lives have been disrupted because of their mental illness, and who need the support of others who are in recovery and who believe that mental illness is treatable.

Qualifications:

• Be at least 18 years of age and have 2 years of driving experience.
• Have a valid driver's license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.
• Able to drive passenger vans and bring Clubhouse members into the Clubhouse program and back home from our local community while maintaining sensitivity to the rights and dignity of the individual.
• Strong people skills.
• Able to work flexible hours as needed.
• Ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
