Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for year over year improvement in quality of finished goods which encompasses the evaluation of prior statistical product data and managing quality control. This also includes managing a team of production professionals that ensure all factories have complete and accurate data to produce the world class garments that are required.
- Accountable for managing and training a team to ensure actual cost savings year over year through allocation of product to factories that creates breadbasket cost savings, process, and efficacy improvements, and finished product negotiations.
- Evaluation of capabilities and intimately understanding capacity constraints of each partner factory will be required to find arbitrage opportunities that allow purchase orders to be placed as close to the market demand as possible while ensuring product will arrive on time for all launches.
- Must have the ability to build long term strategic plans and relationships with the business acumen that can see macroeconomic swings and understand the long-term effects on production and the implications to our long-term strategic partners.
- Responsible to use data to formulate and measure business strategies with ability to change plan as inputs and outputs of the factories and our business change.
- In control of managing KPI’s and adding new measurables as needed then is responsible to ensure subordinates clearly distribute KPI’s to factory to ensure expectations are clear and plans for improvement can be extended in a timely manner.
- Need to understand what it takes to actualy manufacture our goods so reasonable expectations can be managed with partner factories and by the same token understand enough to be able to push for the results that are required for continued growth and success.
- Responsible to understand internal department needs (sales, marketing, product line mangers, development, warrantee, demand planning, leadership) and supply needed information in a timely manner while brokering competing interests within the organization.
- Team is responsible to manage production of raw material supply chain from greige forecasting to finished garments for quality and on time delivery
- Manage Quality Control Manager regarding inspection approvals for on time exit factory date
- Prepares, recommends, and tracks operating and personnel budgets for approval.
- Monitors spending for adherence to budget, recommends variances as necessary.
- Alerts departmental leaders regarding timeline requirements for Final Production TDP, Marketing POP and packaging requirements are ready in time for PO placement.
- Ensures all Timeline Milestones are met by other departments to ensure production happens in an efficient and timely manner.
- Special Projects as required.

Qualifications
- Microsoft, PLM and ERP software knowledge required
- Heavy emphasis in Excel Workbooks, coding and formulas
- Experience 8 to 10 years’ experience in production and manufacturing
- Some product development experience required
- Valid Passport and Visas required

Working conditions
Responsibilities will require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.
