POSITION SUMMARY
Directs, supervises, and governs corporate projects. Reviews proposals to determine costs, timeline, funding, staffing requirements, and goals. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. This position is responsible for growing philanthropic support for CCHS, through the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of corporations, businesses, and grant-making foundations nationwide. The Director of Corporate and Foundation Giving must be a results-oriented and collaborative member of the development team, with strong communication and networking skills as well as the ability to identify and develop new sources of funding, and plan and manage new fundraising campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES*
Develops and implements funding opportunities to achieve objectives of the organization’s strategies and activities. Work cohesively with communications, marketing, and development in structuring funding messages. Manages oversite of funding software as well as grant writing tools.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES*
Grants Management, Grants Writing, Brand Awareness
1. Responsible for assisting the VP of Business Development with increasing funding for Christ Community Health Services.
2. Write grants for the organization.
3. Keep abreast of changing grant standards and proposal guidelines.
4. Conduct foundation and corporate research.
5. Develop and maintain communication with fund-raising sources.
6. Identify private, corporate, and government grant opportunities.
7. Prepare grant applications for new and existing programs.
8. Write letters of inquiries and proposals to prospective funding entities.
9. Track proposals and report deadlines, and coordinate their timely execution.
10. In partnership with accounting, build financial reports to include grant money spent and available.
11. Serve as a resource for employees who are writing grant applications for various departments.
12. Assist individual grant writers with proposal development.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by the CDO. Other universal working standards and documentation (For Providers, Managers and Admin employees)

ADDITIONAL DUTIES*
1. Greet and interact with all patients, staff and visitors in a pleasant and professional manner.
2. Complete work in a punctual and accurate manner, and documenting all work as necessary in the organization’s information systems.
3. Be knowledgeable of and in compliance with applicable standards, laws and regulations by regulatory and accrediting organizations such as: BPHC, JCAHO, CLIA, OSHA, and the State and Federal Governments. Maintain patient confidentiality according to HIPAA and the CCHS Confidentiality Agreement and comply with CCHS’ Standards of Conduct.
4. Regularly check mail, e-mail and voicemail and respond promptly and professionally to all inquiries.
5. Orient and train other employees as needed.
6. Work a reasonable schedule, which may include an assignment at any location and during any of the hours that CCHS provides services.
7. Perform other tasks as needed to assist any colleagues or subordinates with their work, but which are not detailed within this job description

POSITION REQUIREMENTS*
Education: Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Marketing or Nonprofit
Experience: 8 years experience in fundraising, grant writing or nonprofit communication
Skills and Abilities: fundraising, writing, nonprofit, excellent communication skills, demonstrated computer skills, ability to use grant databases (SalesForce); knowledge of grant funding best practices
