Essential Job Duties:
· Develops long- and short-term goals centered around Construction, with input on Real Estate, Design and Facilities in alignment with organizational objectives
· Responsible for the planning, budgeting, design, coordination, bidding, contract administration, oversight and close out of all new construction or renovation activity
· Collaborates with members of the executive leadership team to align departmental strategy and direction with the overall goals of the organization
· Excellent time management and communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to effectively communicate updates regarding project budget, schedule and construction challenges to executive leadership and operations
· Oversees facility maintenance staffing, compliance, schedules, construction resources, and contractual commitments
· Collaborates in the evaluation of potential or existing sites or structures for development/construction potential
· Directs plans for new-build or renovation projects and develops and manages relationships with contractors, vendors, and local governing officials
· Maximizes efficiency and cost management of all major construction projects, facilities initiatives, and develops annual capital and maintenance budgets for the department
· Analytical problem-solving skills required in solving technical issues, including the ability to manage problems that are highly varied, complex, and often nonrecurring
· Manages a portfolio that includes all construction project management, monitoring of all projects and ensuring that projects are completed as designed, in compliance with accepted plans and specifications, on time, and within approved budgets
· Designs and implements relevant policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization
· Guides the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, development, performance management, and termination
· Builds partnership and maintains positive relationships with all internal stakeholders, contractors, vendors and the community while acting with the highest level of integrity
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent experience
· 15 years of combined progressive experience in Real Estate, Design, Construction, and Facilities
· Experience and knowledge in field Restaurant and/or Retail Design preferred
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects, deadlines, and responsibilities simultaneously

Requirements
ADA Requirements/Physical Standards:
· Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended time to complete tasks related to responsibilities
· Exposure to extreme temperatures based upon variable weather conditions inside and outside
· Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility and reasonable range of motion such as bending, stooping, standing, walking, stirring, lifting to complete physical tasks related to responsibilities
· Able to safely respond in emergency situations to avoid imminent dangers to self and others
· Safely transport and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
· Safely work frequently in and prolonged exposure to a hot and damp environment. Safely work frequently in and prolonged exposure to a sub-40 degree (F) environment
· Ability to safely work in environment that includes wet floors, temperature extremes, and loud noise
· Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally and listen attentively to employees, guests, vendors, and visitors
· Ability to give appropriate notice for any need to deviate - in any way - from one's assigned responsibilities
