Responsibilities
Looking to fill position immediately
- Assists individuals with daily living skills
- Actively attend to needs of individuals based on their Individual Support Plan(ISP)
- Promoting independence through follow up instructions and activities from OT, PT, and behavior plan
- Advocates for community inclusion and independence by planning activities and outings
- Willing to work from 15-30 hours, including weekends, per.week
- Willing to work late afternoon until evening
Qualifications
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or as a caretaker
- A warm, friendly demeanor and genuine desire to help others
- Be conscientious, dependable, and able to work well within a team environment
- Be able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Be open to learning, energetic and ready to multitask
- Have a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED
- Bachelors or Associates degree desired
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Current, Non-Provisional Driver’s License in good standing
- Ability to successfully clear a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check is required
· Complete state/Federal Criminal Background checks and Central Registry checks
- Valid driver’s license and abstract (not to exceed 5 points) if driving is required
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 12 hour shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Township of Deptford, NJ 08096: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
