Atterdag Village of Solvang is a Continuing Care Retirement Community, offering our residents independent, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing care. We currently have a full-time position open for a Dining Room Supervisor.

• The Dining Room Supervisor is accountable to manage all aspects of the Dining Room Service throughout the campus, through effective planning, direction and control to meet the dining needs of the residents.
• Supervises Dining Room staff
• Responsible for all on-site catered events.
• Ordering supplies and monitors inventory of china, glassware, utensils, etc.,
• Provides residents with information regarding mealtimes and schedules, handles resident requests and complaints.
• Responsible for various reports and records.
• Oversees food presentation and portion control.
• Establishes and executes resident table assignment and guest reservation process.
• Inventories certain food supplies including bread and ice cream and places orders when needed.
• Assists Director of Nutrition Services in developing working policies and procedures in accordance with all federal and state regulations for Nutrition Service Department.
• Conducts quality assurance studies and quality control monitors as needed.
• Assists Director of Nutrition Services in annual budget process and maintains spending within the set budget for year.
• Coordinate Nutrition Service with other departments as necessary.

Job Requirements:

Basic understanding of computer operation.

Possess and maintain ServSafe Certification

Experience in managerial and organizational skills preferred.
