BASIC POSITION DESCRIPTION:

This role is responsible for the development of complex Business Intelligence solutions using Microsoft Business Intelligence technology stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) and Power BI. Create database tables, stored procedures & triggers, and prepare for deployment to DEV/QA/BETA & PROD environments. Participate in design reviews and perform code reviews. Document all developed code and perform testing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES/TASKS:

• Create and Modify SSIS packages. Create an ETL design and implementation checks in SSIS packages
• Create data load mappings, import/export methods, Incremental /Full load data from Source systems to various targets.
• Connecting to various legacy data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business Intelligence.
• Responsible for design methodology and project documentation.

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:

Experience of 5+ years in data preparation, data gateway and data warehousing projects.

5+ years experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) using Microsoft Integration Services / SSIS

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in computer science, information technology, or other related field or equivalent experience required.

KNOWLEDGE/PROFICIENCIES:

• 5+ years of experience as a SSIS Developer.
• 5+ years of experience with data warehousing projects. Experience across many legacy systems is a plus.
• Advanced level in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) using Microsoft Integration Services / SSIS
• Working knowledge and experiences in SSRS, SSAS and SQL Server development tools.
• Advanced level in Microsoft T-SQL

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a dynamic work environment.
• Possess proficient analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills including teamwork, facilitation, communication, and the ability to influence.
