Day Care Attendants Job at Dog Days of Buffalo
Looking for energetic, enthusiastic attendants… experience preferred. As part of a team, care for 30 to 50 large and small dogs per day. Job responsibilities include:
- Managing and caring for dogs in play groups
- Includes scooping and mopping, controlling dogs and correcting for inappropriate behaviors to provide a clean, safe, and fun environment for the dogs
- Assisting with overall maintenance of the facility
- Facility is indoor/outdoor so candidate must enjoy all types of weather
Job is rewarding and fun and enjoying interacting and playing with the dogs is encouraged; however, job is also physically demanding as it does require lots of time on your feet, moving around with the dogs, and cleaning, mopping, etc.
Applicants should be confident, detail-oriented, have good communication skills, and good customer service skills.
Please note: this is a permanent position, not a summer position. Applicants must have availability beyond September to be considered for the position.
