Intrepid Solutions has an opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst for a new contract.
Our client is a geographically distributed, complex system of communication networks and networked software and service capabilities. This position will be sited at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee, monitor, and improve all frameworks to manage data across the enterprise infrastructure.
- Determine procedure(s) to identify and collect all required data, validate processes, and recommend improvements to data collection and quality control procedures.
- Enable creation of reports, perform qualitative and quantitative NOC and mission data analysis, and must be proficient with data analysis using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, SharePoint, Access, Word, PowerPoint) and other business intelligence tools.
- Analyze data using statistical techniques and providing reports to improve data quality, efficiency, and integrity.
- Support, develop, and implement databases and data collection systems to maximize the value of data throughout the enterprise.
- Assess the data primary and secondary sources as well as transit, storage, and access mechanisms to maintain data systems.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets, recommending tools, solutions, SOPs, and other techniques to improve data quality, efficiency, and user access to perform their missions.
- Work with an interdisciplinary team to assess the enterprise and prepare reports for senior leadership that effectively communicate trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data.
OPERATING HOURS AND EXPECTATIONS:
- This position operates on a standard 8-hour schedule, Monday - Friday
- Evening and weekend work may be required during surge support periods.
TRAVEL:
- Limited or minimal travel expected.
CLEARANCE: Active or Interim Secret clearance required.
EDUCATION:i
- Bachelor’s of Science degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 4 years of experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree, and 2 years of experience may be substituted for an Associate's degree.
CERTIFICATION(S):
- DOD IAT Level II
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 8+ years of experience leading and support enterprise data analysis activities.
