Custodian Job at Outpatient Surgery Center
Fremont Surgery Center has been providing high quality care to patients in the Bay Area since 1996. Our facility is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (AAAASF) and certified by Medicare. We are one of the largest and busiest ambulatory surgery centers in Northern California.
At this time, we are looking to expand our clinical support team with the addition of a Custodian.
General Job Duties include:
· Empty trash throughout facility such as in locker rooms, break room, doctors lounge, patient changing area, pre-op/PACU, etc.
· Take trash to trash boat in trash holding area and emptying trash boat into the dumpsters when full.
· Empty linen hampers throughout facility and taking full dirty linen bags to trash holding area
· Monitor, spot clean, and restock restrooms in locker rooms, waiting room, patient changing rooms, PACU, procedure hall
· Monitor hand sanitizer dispensers, soap dispensers, and paper towel dispensers throughout facility refilling as necessary.
· Spot mop floor as required
· Monitor and tidy up waiting room
· Monitor and spot clean lunchroom and physicians’ lounge
· Stock plates and utensils in breakroom and physicians’ lounge
· Stock beverages in physician lounge
Minimum Qualifications for this position are as follows:
· Previous custodial experience
· Positive attitude and exceptional attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
· Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality practices in a healthcare setting
