We are currently looking for a new Cosmetic Front Desk Coordinator to join the team at one of our Florida practices, Academic Alliance in Dermatology (www.academicallderm.com). Responsibilities:
The Cosmetic Coordinator is responsible for patient check-in and check-out. Treat all patients in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure that the patient has a positive experience by instilling confidence in the staff, provider and AAD.

Duties and Responsiilities:
  • Manage the Check-in and Check-out process at the front desk
  • Ensure that every patient that walks through the site’s doors are beyond satisfied with their visit, phone call, treatment, procedure etc. – by delivering consistency, respecting patient discretion/privacy, and catering to a unique and elevated patient experience.
  • Update client information and provide necessary forms for completion
  • Create client profile in the EMR as required and according to protocol
  • Reconcile daily charges and cash, checks, and bankcard payments
  • Take ownership of signing patients up for rewards programs, credit applications, discounts, loyalty programs and more while also assisting with inbound calls and scheduling patients
  • Make daily outbound calls to patients to assist in preparation for booked patient’s upcoming appointments, and will also make additional outbound dials as needed for events, promotions, appointment requests etc.
  • Escalate any unresolved patient issues to Cosmetic suite Manager, as appropriate, and partner with management on a satisfactory and meaningful resolution.
  • Participate in scheduled promotional cosmetic events on site. This may require evening hours a few times a year
Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-year medical office experience is strongly preferred
  • Completion of a Medical Administrative Assistant program or equivalent preferred, but not required
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, telephone & written communication skills
  • Computer proficient
