Job Description:
Aquent is hiring a Copywriter with a strong creative background and the ability to write concise copy with a strategic and memorable style. You’re the ideal candidate if you’re an experienced writer, design thinker, and persuasive communicator. You bring communications know-how and are comfortable using various tools to accomplish the job. You’re audience-focused and understand how to write copy that informs, educates, and persuades others to take action. Finding the best way to express a concept in concise, conversational, and relevant language drives you. You’re just as happy brainstorming big-picture strategy as crafting compelling headlines. You’re excited to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment that requires self-direction and collaboration.
What you'll do:
You’ll support a cross-functional team that delivers a “playbook” of best practices, curated resources, and engaging updates to enable product teams to design equitable experiences for global audiences. Previous experience in inclusive design is not required - we will provide foundational content, clear direction, and ongoing support.
- Partner with experts to draft definitions, guidelines, and instructional content for a variety of audiences
- Plan and write content for employee-facing experiences – from intranets to newsletters
- Collaborate with Design on page layout, interactions, and visual tone, ensuring we create a consistent end-to-end experience
- Present your work and articulate your approach to teammates, product owners, and other stakeholders

Nice to Have: Expertise in digital accessibility, inclusive design, inclusive writing. Figma. Marketing skills ie. how to write engaging copyw
- Strong portfolio | Solid writing and editing skills
- Experience in creating playbooks, frameworks, and internal-facing communications
- Excellent, highly creative writing and critical-thinking skills
- At ease managing multiple projects, setting stakeholder expectations, working individually, and collaborating across teams
- Experience writing about inclusive and accessibility product design is preferred
- Familiarity with Figma and basic web production processes
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Design, Information Science, or a related field.
