Cook Job at GoldOller Real Estate Investments
Birdies at the Canterbury Green Golf Course is searching for a committed, proactive Part-Time cook who would enjoy work in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The cook will provide patrons with excellent food and quick service. You should be able to work with diverse personalities. This position requires nights, weekends, holidays, and shift work.
DUTIES:
- Must be capable of handling a high-volume restaurant
- Prepare a variety of food items for cooking in broilers, ovens/stovetops, grills, fryers, panini presses, and a variety of kitchen equipment
- Assume 100% responsibility for quality of products served
- Know and comply consistently with our standard portion sizes, recipe specifications, cooking methods, plate presentation and garnishes
- Store and rotate product properly
- Follow quality standards and kitchen rules along with corporate policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen and dining room personnel
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit and other activities as requested. The employee must be able to lift/or move up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
