Entry Level Techs - Are you mechanically inclined and considering becoming an Equipment Technician or a recent graduate of a Diesel Tech school? We would love to discuss our fantastic opportunities at Scott Equipment Baton Rouge.

Responsibilities

This individual will operate a mobile service vehicle and travel to customer locations to perform in-field diagnostics and repair of equipment as required. These repairs will consist of, but are not limited to, complete component removal, disassembly, and reconditioning, following prescribed technical manual procedures. This individual must be able to perform quality work as efficiently and profitably as possible, work overtime and weekends on occasion.

Qualifications

Excellent mechanical skills; Diesel, Hydraulic, Electrical, Drive Train repair experience

Current and valid driver’s license required depending on the position

Ability to assemble and perform maintenance functions on equipment

Strong computer skills

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills

Must currently reside in the U.S.
