Position Description
The Total Rewards Analyst will be an integral part of the HR Team and is located at our Corporate Office in Tampa, FL. The position will be responsible for supporting and maintaining of benefits and payroll reporting, including compliance and auditing. They will have oversight with vendor management, HRIS systems administration (UKGPro/Wex), day-to-day and annual enrollment activities plus provide support to external vendor processes. This position will work closely with internal teams to ensure appropriate legal (FMLA, ADA, EEOC, FLSA, ACA etc.) and Company policy compliance. Additionally, this position serves as the SME in benefits, retirement and have a fundamental knowledge of Payroll concepts, practices and procedures with strong analytical and mathematical aptitude. The analyst serves as a resource for the Payroll and Benefits managers, supporting cross functional team initiatives and projects. This position must be able to identify problems and develop solutions to further efforts towards continuous process improvements and internal controls.
Essential Functions:
- Analyzes and understands the life cycle of employee’s data along with system functionality.
- Actively participates in the set up and testing of benefits administration system, annual enrollment processes, and employee Self-Service features.
- Coordinates annual compliance testing and required audits with external auditors.
- Analyzes and merges data files utilizing v-lookups and pivot tables. Provides oversight in the creation of vendor interfaces and maintenance by partnering with vendor representatives.
- Analyzes vendor interfaces and resolves any discrepancies. Works with vendors to escalate enrollment, file transmission and system issues, as appropriate.
- Ability to analyze large data sets, assess trends or patterns and make recommendations based on data (quantitative) and situational factors (qualitative).
- Participates in reviewing, researching, and correcting error reports generated from benefit vendors.
- Perform duties to balance and control earnings and deduction totals, review the general ledger entries, review automated system output, including general ledgers, registers and standard reports, determining and correcting out of balance conditions.
- Responsible for paying close attention to detail to ensure accuracy and eliminate any subsequent adjustments to payroll.
- Participates with accounting audits as it relates to benefits or payroll errors. Ensure required deadlines are met in order to achieve on-time payments and avoid penalties/interest by vendors.
- Responsible for data audit necessary to complete government compliance activities (5500s, audits, etc.).
- Assists with the administration of the 401(k) Retirement plan.
- Assists with other benefits, payroll or retirement duties and projects as needed.
- Assist with crafting content and communications for employees that are approachable, succinct, and reflect Company culture
- Researches current benefit trends and regulatory/legislated requirements and recommends programs/changes to the Manager, Benefits and/or Manager, Payroll.
- Creates ongoing reporting, in addition to ad-hoc requests.
- Manages ongoing and annual ACA filing requirements with external benefits administrator plus resolves discrepancies in data elements.
- Commitment to process improvement and cross functional collaboration with HR business partners to build efficient and scalable processes.

Education and Experience
- University Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Management or related discipline required.
- Three (3) years of experience in the analysis and administration of benefit and compensation programs required.
- Experience with UKGPro or ADP vendors/systems required. Previous experience with Benefits Express preferred.

- Broad generalist background with demonstrated success in the following areas: HR principles, payroll and benefits administration
- Knowledge of benefits laws and regulations, including all aspects of the Affordable Care Act, ERISA, and its recordkeeping provisions
- Proven strong analytical, problem solving and reporting skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask daily processes/projects to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate-level Microsoft Office Suite required
