Premium Auditors at NAICO obtain exposure information on policies for use in final insurance premium audits via telephone, voluntary and physical on-site audits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

• Reviews audit information, policy file and loss information.
• Classifies employers' payroll per scopes manual if required.
• calls insureds to conduct review of payroll audit records or to schedule a physical audit.
• Interprets NCCI rules and state statues and ISO General Liability Rules.
• Corresponds with insures to request additional information if required to calculate audit information for final earned premium
• Performs reconciliations of exposure base, including comparison with summary records, analysis of financial data and other industry standard.
• Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION:

High school education or general education degree (GED) ; Insurance and/or accounting experience a plus.

SKILLS:

Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and computer skills (specifically Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe) and clerical skills.
