Code Enforcement Officer(s) Full-time: The Borough of Bergenfield is seeking full-time candidates for this position. Under the supervision of the Construction Official, this position performs office, investigative and field work involving the enforcement of appropriate codes, laws, regulations and programs within the Borough of Bergenfield. Candidates will respond to complaints and inquiries, conduct inspections of non-owner occupied 2 family homes and will issue summons for those in violation of Borough Ordinances. This position is required to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Excellent communicative, writing skills along with use of Word, Excel are required. UCC Building Inspector HHS License preferred. EOE. Competitive Benefits; Salary commensurate with experience.
