CDL A Truck Driver - Local Job at Kett Engineering

Kett Engineering is looking for good, dependable, and safe drivers to join our team at our customer location in New Carlisle, IN. The position requires the drivers to drive and evaluate advanced tractor/trailers and other vehicles for testing purposes. We are looking for 2nd Shift drivers.
You will be conducting the pre & post trip safety inspections as required of the vehicles. Once completed you will be driving on "real world" durability test routes on various road surfaces throughout an 8 hour shift.
***no loading / no unloading***
At the end of the shift you will be completing a report and document findings during your shift in a very clear and concise manner.
Shift hours:
2nd shift: 4:30pm - 2:30am Monday-Friday
Requirements:
- Must have CDL A and DOT Card.
- A clean driving record.
- Must have Manual Transmission Experience.
- Must have at least 3 years tractor trailer experience
- Attention to detail with the ability to communicate findings both verbally and in writing.
- Able to contribute in a team environment.
- Must pass pre-employment drug and background screens.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour
