Job Overview

The CDL Driver Class A or B with Air Brakes (Class B with Air Brakes a minimum requirement) will make deliveries of finished product to our clients and pickup of raw materials from suppliers for production purposes. The driver will be home every day and when not on the road will help in shipping and receiving area of the warehouse.

Duties and responsibilities

• Make deliveries to LTi Printing clients and periodically make pickups of raw materials from various suppliers and converters following all DOT and State Highway Department laws and regulations.
• Maintain assigned delivery truck in a clean condition and sound mechanical condition.
• Inspect truck per DOT guidelines and enter pertinent information into electronic log book before leaving
• Offload truck at the direction of the Warehouse Manager to specific clients
• Notify Supervisor of any needed repairs from the daily inspections or damage incurred during delivery
• Keep abreast of and comply with changing DOT regulations
• Assist as needed in the warehouse with shipping and receiving duties
• Maintain pertinent records, inspection sheets and fuel records

Qualifications

• Must have current CDL Class A or B with Air Brakes
• Maintain a current DOT physical card

Physical requirements

• Employees must be physically able to perform all requirements including but not limited to:
• Physically able to perform all duties / lift, push and pull a minimum of 75 pounds
• Work in tight and confined spaces, walk, climb, bend, kneel, grip, and grasp various tools and equipment
• Sit for long periods of time during deliveries
• Ability to walk stairs and climb up and down bulk trailers; ascend/descend ladders, stairs and perform all functions necessary to inspect trucks per DOT regulations
