Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge, a leader in offering treatment programs to those battling addiction, is seeking a dynamic individual to fill our opening for a Case Coordinator.

Purpose: To work collaboratively within the Assessment Team to assist in the admission or referral process for clients applying to MNTC services.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

Pre-Admission & Intake Responsibilities

  • Works closely with Assessor team which includes, but not limited to, facilitate funding and screening applicants
  • Assists with review process for clients whose legal, mental health or medical issues need to be resolved before intake.
  • Answers live calls, respond to voicemails, and replies to emails in timely manner
  • Ensures applicants file is uploaded into our Electronic Medical Record
  • Assists in the client intake, which includes, but not limited to, making sure paperwork is signed and filled out in our Electronic Medical Record
  • Respond to applicants to approve and admit, or deny and refer, as quickly as possible for quality applicant care

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Strong ability to relate to people with life-controlling problems.
  • Excellent word processing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Very well organized.
  • Maintain professional standards of conduct and appearance with co-workers and the public.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks with competing deadlines in stressful environments.
  • Ability to remain on task and follow through projects to their completion.
  • Documented 2 years freedom from chemical use problems
  • Exhibit strong commitment to the organization and dedicated to the spiritual restoration of hurting adults and troubled teens.
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record that will be accepted by this organization’s vehicle insurance carrier.
  • Ability to successfully complete background check process.
  • Knowledge and understanding of implications of parts 9530.6405 to 9530.6505, 9543.1000 to 9543.1060, and Minnesota Statutes, chapter 245A, and sections 626.556, 626.557, and 626.5572.
