About Us: The Lodge of Lazarus Crowe is a new type of Escape Room experience that encourages puzzlers to revel in curiosity and exploration. We are looking for an outgoing & goal-oriented individual to lead the bar and kitchen team at our new Saint Paul location! You would manage a quick-service kitchen and bar environment that invites guests to play and stay in the mysterious world of The Lodge.

  • Set and uphold all standards in the kitchen - from delivery to being served to a guest
  • Determine recipes, preparation procedures, and par levels
  • Maintain a clean and organized space regardless of business level and adhere to the highest standards of sanitation and hygiene
  • Ensure continuous compliance with all relevant federal/state/local laws, insurance requirements, and company policies by maintaining employee safety within the kitchen and cafe space while being proactive about potential challenges to the welfare of staff and guests.
  • Communicate with the Experiences Manager and Owners as needed to organize large group and special event bookings
  • Continuously uphold The Lodge… brand and visual standards across all parts of the business, including product, experience, display standards, as well as environmental cleanliness and organization. Generates ideas on how best to promote new products

Working Conditions / Essential Functions

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which will include days, nights, weekends and holidays as well as emergency responsiveness as required (Wednesdays through Sundays)
  • Able to work eight hour-plus shifts, plus ability to stand, sit, squat or walk for extended periods of time, walk up and down stairs
  • Able to grasp, reach overhead, push, lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced, ever changing work environment
  • Lead experience focused change management activities, ensuring effective and accurate communication of new products, services, and operational information and skillfully guiding the team to optimal performance
  • Hire and train new cafe staff to uphold the standards of operation that The Lodge… values
  • Develop supervisors and other hourly team members to rise to their full potential
  • Address disciplinary issues and coach staff when appropriate to ensure a fun & positive culture and productive team work environment
  • Monitor labor and submitting biweekly payroll
  • Attending weekly meetings with other members of TPR upper management
  • Monitor inventories and take lead on vendor communication and ordering supplies
  • Have knowledge of health and sanitation code and policies
  • Be organized with strong attention to detail
  • Have high integrity and professionalism
  • Have a positive, upbeat and energetic attitude – lead by example

PLEASE NOTE: This role requires CFPM & alcohol serving certifications to be earned within 2 months of starting date.

Ideal candidates will be 21+ and have a minimum of 2 years’ experience, as a supervisor or lead position in a restaurant and bar. Upbeat, organized, hard worker with great communication skills and a passion for giving guests outstanding dining experiences is a must.
